Investment casting is also called precision casting
 
Precision casting refers to the general term for the process of obtaining precise size castings. Compared with the traditional sand casting process, the casting size obtained by precision casting is more accurate and the surface finish is better. It includes: investment casting, ceramic mold casting, metal mold casting, pressure casting, and lost foam casting. One of the more commonly used is investment casting, also known as lost wax casting: select suitable investment materials (such as paraffin) to make investment molds; repeat the steps of dipping refractory paint and sprinkling refractory sand on the investment mold, hardening the shell and drying; then Melt the internal investment mold to obtain a cavity; bake the mold shell to obtain sufficient strength and burn off the remaining investment material; cast the required metal materials; solidify and cool, and clean the sand after the shelling, thereby obtaining high Precision finished product. According to product needs or heat treatment, cold processing and surface treatment.
The casting production process is roughly like this. Generally speaking, it can be divided into pressing wax, shell making, pouring, post-processing, and inspection.

 Vast variety of materials - All steel and stainless-steel materials as well as aluminum alloys, brass and bronze can be cast, very close to the final shape, by means of the highly refractory ceramic shell.
 
Close tolerances and high quality surfaces - In many cases parts can be manufactured ready for installation. This saves machining costs. Draft angles are usually not necessary.
 
 
 
 
Materials: Steel, high-grade and stainless steel alloys according to DIN, EN, ISO, ASTM, BS, JCSI.
Special materials based on Cobalt and Nickel, aluminium alloys.
Weight per piece: Steel, high-grade and stainless steel materials 0.1 to 50,00 kg.
Aluminium alloys 0.06 to 20,00 kg.
Dimensions: Max. 1800 x 1800 x 1800 mm.
Tolerances: According to VDG P690 (about ± 0,7 % of the nominal dimension).
Quantities: Small, medium, and large series.
Machining equipment: All current processing methods, CNC and conventional machining.
Surface treatment: Hot-dip galvanising, galvanising, Cr6 free coating, glass balls and shot blasting, priming, electro-polishing, tumbling, burnishing, pickling, passivating, lacquer finishing.
Checking equipment: Chemical analysis by spectrometer, mechanical properties for tensile strength, yield stress, notched bar impact testing, X-ray, pressure testing up to 200 bar, 3-D co-ordinate CNC measuring machine, metallography, magnetic particle flaw inspection.
