2.Normalizing

Operation method: heat the steel to Ac3 or Accm above 30 ~ 50 degrees, heat preservation withslightly greater than the annealing cooling rate after cooling.

Application points: fire is usually as a forging, welding and carburized parts heat treatment process in advance. For performance requirements of low carbon and carbon in the carbon structural steel and low alloy steel parts, also can be used as the final heat treatment. For general, high alloy steel, air cooling can result in complete or partial quenching, so not as a final heat treatmentprocess.
